Paul W. Wiedner

Summary
Paul Wiedner has been in practice for over 25 years
with an emphasis on workers’ compensation, tort and employment
law. Paul has served as a member of the section on Workers’
Compensation Law for the Chicago, Illinois State and American Bar
Associations. He was selected as a member on the Task Force on the
Unauthorized Practice of Law Committee for the Illinois State Bar
Association. Over the last several years he has been the editor
and co-editor of the “Workers’ Compensation Law”
newsletter for the Illinois State Bar Association. Paul serves as
a special assistant State’s Attorney for DuPage County for
matters related to workers compensation and employment law. Paul
has been a member of the firm since 1977.

Background
Paul has tried hundreds of cases before the
Illinois Industrial Commission and participated in appeals
to the Illinois Appellate and Supreme Courts. Based on the
review of his piers, Paul’s Martindale-Hubbell rating
includes: legal ability “A” (Very High to Preeminent)
and general ethical standards “V” (Very High).
He has been selected and is a member of the Leading Lawyers
Network.
Publications and Presentations
Paul is a faculty member and lecturer for the Illinois Institute
of Continuing Legal Education. He has written regularly and
acted as editor for the “Workers’ Compensation
Law” newsletter for the Illinois State Bar Association.
Paul provides regular law presentations for clients throughout
the state.
