Summary
James M. Rozak graduated from Marquette University in 1987 with a B.S. in Business Administration. He began his career as a Commercial Property, Liability and Products Underwriter at Kemper Insurance in Chicago, Illinois.

In 1991, he earned his juris doctor from John Marshall Law School in Chicago, Illinois. After gaining four years of experience as the Assistant State’s Attorney for DuPage County, Mr. Rozak became President of the independent adjusting firms of R.S. Rozak & Company (property) and Casualty Adjusting Services, Inc. (casualty). In 1999, he returned to litigation as counsel to the Commercial Property Department of Kemper Insurance.

Currently, Mr. Rozak is a litigation attorney at Wiedner & McAuliffe, Ltd. in Chicago, Illinois. His practice is focused primarily on product liability,premises liability defense, and commercial litigation. He has gained extensive nationwide experience in both state and federal courts as national counsel for a major consumer appliance manufacturers. He is an active member of the Defense Research Institute and a committee member of the Products Liability Section. He has authored articles on subjects of defense strategies and evidence preservation, including articles on the subjects of electrocutions, arson and the use of NFPA 921.
