Mr. Ramer graduated from Harvard College in 2000, receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Government and International Relations. After teaching history and economics at two American international high schools for three years in Switzerland, he earned a J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law in 2006. While attending law school, he externed for the Honorable Rebecca R. Pallmeyer of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.

Mr. Ramer is a member of the American Bar Association, the Illinois State Bar Association, and the Chicago Bar Association. He is also a licensed member of the Illinois Bar.
