Jennifer J.C.
Kerns Summary Ms. Kerns graduated from Indiana University Bloomington in 2001, receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Public Relations, with a minor in Spanish. After working in marketing and events planning for a year, she attended DePaul University College of Law and earned a J.D. in May 2005. While attending DePaul College of Law, Ms. Kerns served as a board member of the Moot Court Society and competed in two national appellate advocacy competitions. She also spent a summer working with Chicago Volunteer Legal Services and was selected by DePaul College of Law to represent the university in assisting human rights organizations in Chaipas, Mexico. Ms. Kerns is a member of the American Bar Association, the Chicago Bar Association, the Illinois State Bar Association, and the Hispanic National Bar Association. She is also a licensed member of the Illinois Bar and is admitted to the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
