Emily E. Borg Summary Ms. Borg graduated from Michigan State University in 1996, receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. She earned a J.D. from DePaul University College of Law in May of 2000. Before joining Wiedner & McAuliffe, Ms. Borg served a two year judicial clerkship with the Illinois Appellate Court under Justice Patrick Quinn. Ms. Borg also clerked for the Illinois Attorney General in the Criminal Prosecution Division. Ms. Borg is the author of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and the Workers' Compensation Exemption, Workers' Compensation Law Section Newsletter (Illinois State Bar Association). Ms. Borg is a member of the America Bar Association and the Illinois State Bar Association. She is a licensed member of the Illinois Bar.
